Connecting Air Force Needs with Local Capabilities

The Air Force is looking for solutions in a variety of areas, and we believe New Mexicans might have the answers. During the challenge, local businesses and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to work with the Air Force to solve these challenges. Top solutions will share in $30,000 of prize money and could receive additional business assistance that could lead to a contract.

Here are the 7 issue topics for the inaugural Enterprize Challenge

Topic #1—Flight Training Scheduling

Topic #2—3D Modeling Trainer

Topic #3—Tool Tracker

Topic #4—Fuel Tank Sealant

Topic #5—Check Valve Improvement

Topic #6—Pigeon Poop

 

Topic #7—CV-22 Dust Protection

 

Who Should Participate:

Anyone who believes they can develop a viable solution. Prior government contracting work IS NOT required or necessary.

How it Works:

Registered participants will have 8 weeks to design a solution. During that time, they will have access to the Air Force personnel with the issue that needs solving to ask questions.

At the end of the 8 weeks, participants will be invited back to present their solutions.

Awards: 

The top viable solutions will receive prize money.

1st       $15,000

2nd      $10,000

3rd      $5,000

They will also receive a tech assessment that will help them get to a minimal viable product which the Air Force may choose to purchase.

All participants may be eligible for additional business and technology assistance from partners, including New Mexico Tech, the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University.
